Privacy Policy

Your deal data is confidential. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and the controls available to you.

What we collect

We collect account information (name, email, organization), workspace data (deals, obligations, documents you upload), and usage metadata (login times, feature usage) necessary to operate the service.

How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the DealTracker service. Deal content and documents are never used to train AI models. AI-powered features (extraction, analysis) process your data in real-time and do not retain it beyond the request lifecycle.

Data storage and residency

Data is stored on Azure infrastructure. Enterprise customers can select their preferred data residency region (EU or US). Backups are encrypted and retained in the same region as the primary data store.

Third-party access

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is shared only with sub-processors necessary to operate the service (see our Security page for the current list). All sub-processors are bound by data processing agreements.

Access and deletion

You may request a copy of your data or request deletion at any time by contacting privacy@dealtracker.com. Workspace administrators can export all workspace data from Admin settings. Upon account deletion, data is purged within 30 days.

Cookies

We use a single httpOnly session cookie (__dt_session) for authentication. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Optional analytics (PostHog) can be disabled per workspace.

Changes to this policy

We will notify workspace administrators by email at least 30 days before any material changes to this policy take effect.
